laser fume extraction guidance

// COSHH LEV TESTING

COSHH regulations state that Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) equipment be appraised and tested every 14 months. Under ever increasing regulation on what can be released into the atmosphere, and the realisation of employee compensation and increasing sick days/downtime, it is vital for any company to ensure that their current fume extraction systems are working properly and efficiently.

LFE guidance employ testers with 40 years of knowledge within industrial fume extraction and ventilation. We are able to fully test, report and appraise systems to conform with Regulation 9 of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations (COSHH) and the guidance in HSG 54 “The maintenance, examination and testing of local exhaust ventilation.

Our intention is not to sell capital intensive installations or equipment, but we will recommend remedial action or maintenance to be carried out, or where significant failures are occurring renewal or replacement of systems.

Our service is for all Local Exhaust Ventilation systems. Not just Laser fume processes.
